The words “use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love,” taken from Don Miguel Ruiz‘s book the “The Four Agreements” at first glance for me read as if referring to keeping one’s word. Then again from another perspective, words create a phrase, making what is “your word”, a type of transmitter of energy. Hard as it may be to believe, we are all human energy fields, receptors picking up pulses of energy creating feelings associated with words. So why not use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love, compassion, gratitude, healing or empathy.
We are the embodiment of the Universe
On speaking of energy, words and their influence on our human energy fields, I’ve been on my bi-yearly body cleanse or detoxing which is a personal spiritual journey more than a holistic one and to me is like assisting the body in repairing an (aura) electrostatic charge.
In my experience deep body cleansing or detoxing the cells can raise emotional sensitivity so having loving and supportive members that speak kindly of this journey is a plus during the transformation. It’s like peeling an onion and not knowing why tears are flowing down your cheeks. It’s all poetic in a strange familiar yet unfamiliar way as you learn to relinquish by being gentle on yourself balancing your vibrations.
What is the relationship between detoxing or body cleansing, our cells, and words? Well, according to Dr. Candace Pert, “the chemicals that are running our body and our brain are the same chemicals that are involved in emotion. And that says to me that we’d better pay more attention to emotions with respect to health.” Does this mean deep cleansing or detoxing the physical body clears the mind? Improved health results higher vibrational energy with less likelihood of speaking words from a level of misery, but instead from a place of calm and peace.
To take the conscious effort to choose our words in speech, or the overall maintenance in detoxing for better health is not a fad, diet or new age way of thinking. I was fortunate to have grown up on an island where as a child when Friday rolled around, it was considered common to be given our weekly herbs for cleansing. We were happy go lucky and healthy.
As in the words of Mastin Kipp of Daily Love – “Universe is defined as Uni=one Verse=song. Together, in all our own unique ways, we are all participating in One Song.”
