Power of Words and Detox

The words “use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love,” taken from Don Miguel Ruiz‘s book the  “The Four Agreements” at first glance for me read as if referring to keeping one’s word.  Then again from another perspective, words create a phrase, making what is “your word”, a type of transmitter of energy.  Hard as it may be to believe, we are all human energy fields, receptors picking up pulses of energy creating feelings associated with words.  So why not use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love, compassion, gratitude, healing or empathy.

We are the embodiment of the Universe

We are the embodiment of the Universe

On speaking of energy, words and their influence on our human energy fields,  I’ve been on my bi-yearly body cleanse or detoxing which is a personal spiritual journey more than a holistic one and to me is like assisting the body in repairing an (aura) electrostatic charge.

In my experience deep body cleansing or detoxing the cells can raise emotional sensitivity so having loving and supportive members that speak kindly of this journey is a plus during the transformation.  It’s like peeling an onion and not knowing why tears are flowing down your cheeks. It’s all poetic in a strange familiar yet unfamiliar way as you learn to relinquish by being gentle on yourself balancing your vibrations.

What is the relationship between detoxing or body cleansing, our cells, and words? Well, according to Dr. Candace Pert, “the chemicals that are running our body and our brain are the same chemicals that are involved in emotion. And that says to me that we’d better pay more attention to emotions with respect to health.”  Does this mean deep cleansing or detoxing the physical body clears the mind? Improved health results higher vibrational energy with less likelihood of speaking words from a level of misery, but instead from a place of calm and peace.

To take the conscious effort to choose our words in speech, or the overall maintenance in detoxing for better health is not a fad, diet or new age way of thinking. I was fortunate to have grown up on an island where as a child when Friday rolled around, it was considered common to be given our weekly herbs for cleansing. We were happy go lucky and healthy.

As in the words of Mastin Kipp of Daily Love – “Universe is defined as Uni=one Verse=song. Together, in all our own unique ways, we are all participating in One Song.”

The Four Agreem…

The Four Agreements

Be Impeccable With Your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

Don’t Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

Don’t Make Assumptions: Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

Always Do Your Best: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Don Miguel Ruize, Author of The Four Agreements

Mantra the Sankrit root definition is “man” to think, and “tra” to liberate thought through vibrations and sounds to awaken the life force within.

Try It

Try It

Yoga Sutra is not merely physical fitness, but to pursue the depths of self-exploration, a systematic journey directly to the center of consciousness, mindful and aware of thought, to awaken the inner- consciousness.

Systematic Journey

Systematic Journey

Affirmations akin to aphorisms are phrases, powerful belief statements with the purpose of suggestion or auto-suggestion. The objective is to awaken within the unconscious area of mind, the sub conscious and super conscious, referred to as the “infra conscious.”

And So Are You

And So Are You

All forms of methodology at best.

Psychologist are beginning to give more credence to phenomena of the hidden planes of the mind and its unexplored regions, as they shift thinking, realizing that the knowledge that they have come to know, is in fact made up of the unknown and in-cognizable.

On many occasions, it is my realization that that which I thought I knew, I really know very little at all. Where old opinions held so close, have become replaced with new ones.

Consciousness plays only a small role in wider complexities of action and emotion. It is the effects that we are conscious of when we experience love, fear, joy, ease, or anger.

So when you find yourself consciously practicing a methodology, be it prayer, meditation, songs or praise, affirmationsmantra or yoga sutra, remember it’s not the organization of your attendance that enlarges the higher self, nor the phrases of suggestion or auto-suggestion alone. It is the unconscious, unexplainable life force that shapes, molds and designs on our actions, feelings and thoughts as we create our reality.

You have chosen to walk the face of this planet in all your splendor and magnitude. You are not depraved of life, love or joy, but the reflections of all you see yourself to be.  Stand tall, walk upright, not down-trodden or timid. You abound of energy, fortitude and clarity.  It is nonsense to believe anything other. Dance as you linger in the presence of self, radiantly alive.

You are a Beautiful Spirit, having a Human Experience, playing in the realm of the “infra conscious.”

Now why is that in wrapping this up, I am feeling Lionel Richie’s song,  “All Night Long.” 🙂

“The “self-imag…

“The “self-image” is the key to human personality and human behavior. Change the “self-image” and you change the personality and the behavior.” – Maxwell Maltz

On numerous occasions, human beings, tend to blame their behavior or personality on circumstances  or to some external situation outside of themselves.

“From Within” comes “A Place of Solace”

Amazing when music opens channels that are sometimes closed due to the inner noise of the world in our every day goings on.

What is it, that an instrument of such simplicity can invoke within stirring the soul? Perhaps it is the player with each stroke, imparts to the instrument such energy that transcends beyond words. Or maybe the player and the instrument have become one? Can it all be referred to as harmonic energy dancing in sweet vibration?

Music is to me “a tuning of collective energy that bounces off of each wave finding its own sound of balance against the backdrop of life.”

Maybe the chords of music speak to you as well, whispering a story to your soul.

My day began with a certain stillness, yet my thoughts were scattered, as a feeling of disarray washed over me. I knew at that moment much of what I set out to accomplish hung in the balance.  I began to ask myself, where and why did these feelings seem to demand my attention?

I got the impulse to just  STOP!  As silent as it was in the room, the place I was reaching for was solace. Maybe in a place  of solace, would be the answer to finding some sort of order to my thoughts.

So there I was, waiting  first, for the answer to why my thoughts felt so scattered. No sooner had I asked that question of myself it became clear, it was information overload, fear that I would not meet my financial deadlines.  It was like watching letters scattered without any congruence. That was it! My thoughts had no congruity. Like a train with wheels unable to fit inside the track, ready to derail.

Where and how was I to find some type of resolve or order within?

Strange as it may seem, “music” was the word uttered from my lips. As if some great force of intense magnitude were guiding me, I surely felt music was out of the question.  Just the thought of hearing someone singing, well just would not go well for me.  At that very moment I was compelled to check my email. Email it is, as I had no idea the genre of music or even the artist for that matter.

I proceeded to open and sort priority messages, which briefly eased the feeling of disarray, to discover something very unusual. There in the inbox among the various emails, the word evolution in the subject line caught my eye. No more had I’d clicked the link, a music video popped up.

Music! The title View From Within seemed appropriate. Why not. Everything else wasn’t making any sense, then or second thought could this be synchronicity? If  it was, I was curious. Could this be the reason I had gone to my email? Well I guess when you go looking for answers to any given situation, they have a strange way of showing up. At least this wasn’t so bad.

This day appeared to be taking its own course, unlike anything I had imagined.

With the answers unveiled without any conscious thinking on my part, its like the events of the day had come to direct me, give me peace of mind in music, soothing my scattered thoughts, transitioning me for the unplanned, only to later discover a gift of “tools.”  Tools that shed light on the intricacies of the mind.

22 Powerful Tools To Transform Your Fear

It is my earnest belief, it was in asking, listening and allowing “from within” that helped me to discover “a place of solace” today.  Could it be…  that in each new dawn, amidst life’s conflicts, even those within ourselves, gifts are being offered up to us in the most indescribable ways?
